Click HERE for Financial Aid Information - You CAN Afford College!
To help support your financial aid application efforts, Allan Hancock College has developed a quick QR resource guide to assist students in navigating state and federal financial aid programs. This guide provides quick information on available funding opportunities, including Pell Grants, Cal Grants, EOPS+, and more! The QR codes are a link to much more information outlining eligibility criteria, application processes, and deadlines to ensure students can access the support they need for their education.
Additionally, there is a "Know Your Rights" section included to empower students to understand their rights under federal and state laws when it comes to how their information will be used for financial aid purposes.

What is ARCAID?
ARCAID is a website designed to provide vital resources that support rehabilitation and successful reintegration into the community. Whether seeking housing, substance use disorder treatment, employment opportunities, or simply essential support like food and clothing, ARCAID can help find what is needed.
ARCAID is constantly expanding its network of resources to better serve individuals transitioning back into the community. CDCR through ARCAID are actively seeking organizations dedicated to supporting rehabilitation and successful reentry to join the platform.
ARCAID Offers Access To:
- Housing: Find information on transitional housing, shelters, and other housing assistance programs.
- Substance Use Disorder Treatment: Locate treatment centers and support groups to aid in your recovery journey.
- Transportation: Discover resources for transportation assistance, including public transit information and ride-sharing programs.
- Employment Opportunities: Browse job listings, connect with employers, and access resources for job training and career development.
- Food and Clothing: Find food banks, clothing closets, and other programs that provide essential support.
- Education: Explore educational opportunities, including GED programs, vocational training, and college courses.
CDCR is asking that all programs that offer Educational programs partner by supporting the system with up to date site information, including address, classes, phone number, etc. By providing the program information and contact information it supports those that are justice impacted as they reintegrate into the community.
When adding the organization to the resource list, it can reach a wider audience and make a significant impact on the lives of individuals seeking a second chance.
Together, we can build a stronger and more supportive community for everyone.

The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) released a new resource, Frequently Asked Privacy-Related Questions About Filing a Complaint with OCR. Responding to privacy-related questions frequently raised by individuals who file complaints and/or contact OCR for technical assistance, this resource provides helpful details about how information – including the identity of a complainant – will be used by OCR when OCR investigates a complaint. The resource also provides information on civil rights protections for individuals who submit a complaint of discrimination or participate in an investigation.
For more information on how OCR evaluates, opens, investigates, and resolves complaints, please see OCR’s Case Processing Manual. For more information on the prohibition against retaliation, please see OCR’s Retaliation webpage.
