Phlebotomy Technician & Medical Assistant course opportunities available here on the Central Coast! Located in Oceano, CA.
Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 (CPT1)
Learn basic and advanced blood collection techniques, along with anatomy and physiology, related to Phlebotomy. Students will also learn lab protocols and labeling.
Graduates are prepared to take the certified clinical exam through the National Healthcareer Association.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must present a High School Diploma or GED.
Tuition $1,950. This amount does not include the textbook or exam cost, however, a payment plan is offered by AUMT.

Next program course date:
April 24 through June 12, 2026. This is an 8 week fast track course.
These classes take place every Friday from 10:00am – 4:00pm at our Oceano Learning Center, Room 34.

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
Designed to equip students with skills and knowledge required for both administrative and clinical roles in healthcare settings.
Graduates are prepared to take the Certified Clinical exam through the National Health Career Association.
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must present a High School Diploma or GED.
Tuition $2,495. This amount does not include the textbook or exam cost, however, a payment plan is offered by AUMT.

Enrollment is open every two weeks: April 27, May 11, May 25 and so on. This is a 10 week fast track course.
These are hybrid classes. Monday through Thursday will be online instruction and the time depends on your registration. You can chose from 9:00am – 1:00pm OR 6:00pm – 10:00pm, all online. In person lab days will be held on Fridays between 6:00pm – 10:00pm at our Oceano Learning Center, Room 34.
