Lucia Mar Adult Education is a member of the San Luis Obispo County Adult Education Consortium serving students throughout San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County. We offer students 18 years and older a variety of classes that allow them the opportunity to improve skills & prepare for a successful future. Those classes include:
Explore your pathway toward a better paying job or even college. We offer individual classes to help students finish their HS Diploma, or can provide resources to aid in studying for the GED or HiSET tests. Discover how we can help you reach your educational and vocational goals now! All classes are FREE!
Lucia Mar and Cuesta College have partnered to offer the community FREE English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for beginners at our Nipomo and Oceano Learning Centers.
We also offer smaller classes specially designed to help students prepare for and pass the United States naturalization interview and test to obtain their US Citizenship.
Want to learn real-life work skills? We offer a low-cost, full-service Cosmetology school and plan to expand our CTE offerings into other areas soon!
