SLO County Office of Education is proud to offer nine FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid courses. The course is for any adult that works or interacts regularly with youth. This includes teachers, school staff, coaches, parents and community members.
The training will help participants:

Recognize risk factors, warning signs, and symptoms of mental health challenges

Understand the most common mental health disorders and the impact they have on youth

Use a 5-step plan to provide initial help and support for a youth in need
